For over six decades, Focus Society for Support Services has been dedicated to empowering individuals and communities. Our commitment to fairness, respect, and dignity drives us to provide impactful, community-driven solutions that address the diverse needs of those we serve.

Our Commitment since 1959 has been to creating positive change and fostering inclusive communities. Our dedicated team operates with transparency, accountability, and a deep commitment to our mission. We prioritize efficiency in service delivery, ensuring that resources are maximized to benefit as many individuals as possible.

At Focus Society for Support Services, our work is driven by a passion for transforming lives and fostering inclusive communities. We strive to expand our reach and impact, ensuring that those we serve receive the care and support they deserve.

Currently, we operate three vital programs, each designed to support and uplift different segments of our community:

  • Our DSS program offers comprehensive care and integration for individuals with developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries. We provide 24/7 support homes and outreach services, ensuring each individual receives the personalized care needed to thrive. Our goal is to promote independence, enhance quality of life, and foster a sense of belonging within the community.

  • Based in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, our FCSS program is dedicated to fostering community resilience and family well-being. We offer essential support for mental health recovery, addiction recovery, trauma, and at-risk individuals. Our services help individuals and families navigate challenges, build strength, and achieve lasting recovery, contributing to the overall health and stability of our community.

  • Our Focus Transportation Services program ensures that seniors and vulnerable individuals across Alberta’s central region have access to non-emergent medical transportation. Reliable transportation is crucial for facilitating medical appointments, allowing individuals to receive the care they need while ensuring local EMS resources remain available for emergencies. Each ride we provide supports health, independence, and dignity.
